Our Story
Why We Created a Niche Platform
DriveMatch was born from a simple frustration. In 2025, a survey of CDL operators found that 68% were dissatisfied with mass-market dating apps like Tinder and Bumble. The reasons were always the same: radius-based matching doesn't work when you drive 600 miles a day, swipe culture attracts people looking for casual encounters rather than commitment, and nobody on those platforms understands what "home time" means.
Meanwhile, 28% of OTR drivers report chronic loneliness on the road, and 27% experience symptoms of depression linked to prolonged time away from home. The problem isn't that truck drivers are hard to love - it's that the tools they were given weren't built for them.
So we built DriveMatch. A trucker dating service with state-by-state search, voice notes optimized for cab communication, manual profile verification, and a community of women who specifically signed up to meet truck drivers. Every feature exists because a real driver needed it.
