Data Collection and Registration
DriveMatch collects only the information needed to create your account, verify your identity, and help you connect with other members of the trucker dating community. When you register, we ask for an email address, a display name, basic preferences (who you're looking for), and optional profile details such as driving experience, equipment type, and route information.
Every new registration goes through email confirmation and a manual profile review before it is published on the platform. This process typically completes within 24 hours. We do not collect your home address, legal surname, or precise GPS location during registration. Payment information is never required to join - DriveMatch is free to browse with no credit card needed.
We also log basic technical data such as device type and approximate region (state-level only) to help optimize the platform for slow truck-stop Wi-Fi and mobile use in the cab. This data is never shared publicly or sold to third parties.
Hidden Location and Personal Information
One of the core principles of DriveMatch is that your location stays hidden until you choose to share it. We do not display your city, state, or any geographic data on your profile unless you explicitly add it. Your surname, home address, phone number, and CDL license number are never visible to other members and are never requested.
Women on the trucker dating site can browse CDL-verified profiles without seeing where a driver is currently located. This protects drivers who may be on an 11-day OTR route and don't want their real-time position exposed. When you're ready to share more - for example, telling a match which city you'll be in next weekend - that's entirely your decision.

No Public Profile Feeds or Facebook Integration
DriveMatch does not have public profile feeds. Your activity - who you message, who you view, what you like - is visible only to you. There is no public timeline, no activity stream, and no way for non-members to see your profile. Everything happens in a closed, verified community.
We also do not integrate with Facebook, Instagram, or any third-party social media platform. You cannot sign up with a social account, and we never post anything on your behalf. Your trucker dating life stays completely separate from your social media presence.
Messages between members are discrete and private. Only you and the person you're messaging can see the conversation. There are no group chats, no public comments, and no message boards where your words could be seen by the broader community.
Account Deletion Policy
You can delete your DriveMatch account at any time, with no waiting period and no retention games. When you request account deletion, the following happens:

Immediate Removal
Your profile, photos, and all visible information are removed from the platform within 24 hours of your request.

Message Deletion
All messages you've sent and received are permanently deleted from our servers. Other members will no longer see your conversation history.

Data Purge
Your email address, preferences, and any stored data are purged from our active databases. We do not keep your information for marketing or re-engagement purposes.
To delete your account, simply contact our support team or use the account deletion option in your settings. No questions asked, no exit surveys, no retention emails. If you ever want to come back, you're welcome to register fresh - but we won't hold onto your data in the meantime.
Cookie Practices
DriveMatch uses a minimal set of cookies to keep you logged in and optimize the platform for mobile use on slow connections.
